Anybody get the purpose of injecting last years deadly disease into your body to fight against a new strain? You end up being sick anyways. :(

I've had "the flu" once... I don't get shots unless I have to.

I'm sick all year round--no difference to me. I finally got okay with shots a few years ago...no screaming and crying w/ the needle five yards away. XP

Well you do get sick but if you got it without the shot it would be much stronger and could hurt you more. The shot does a modified version of the disease that will prevent you from ever getting the full effect.

I'm usually only get sick twice a year, but I don't do doctors or anything having to do with doctors. I just deal with whatever I have. Unless I break something, then I kinda hafta deal witht the doc. :/
